Tokaj (Hungary)

Frank Dietrich

These bottles of Tokaji wine are stacked in the cellar of the Disznók estate for mid-term storage. The number 5 designates that it took 5 baskets (puttonyos)of grapes to make this sweet wine. Rule of thumb is: the higher the number, the sweeter the wine. This one is a 1998 vintage and can be stored easily for more than 20 to 30 years.

Essaouira (Morocco)

Anne van der Vaart

In the harbour of Essaouira, at the end of every working-day, you will find an astonishing number of fishingboats. All painted this particular shade of pale-blue, all wearing the hand of Fatma for protection. Row after row after row... a beautiful sight!
